Até o dia 11 de setembro, a Cátedra UNESCO de Educação Aberta e Tecnologias para o Bem Comum da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) estará participando da UNESCO Digital Learning Week 2026, realizada na sede da UNESCO, em Paris (FR) representada pelo seu coordenador Prof. Dr. Tel Amiel (UnB) e pela estudante bolsista Rebeca Mesquita (UnB). A programação reúne pesquisadores, educadores, estudantes e representantes de organizações de diferentes países em torno de temas como inteligência artificial, educação aberta, ética e futuros da aprendizagem.
Amiel integra o corpo de facilitadores do Futures Workshop “Beyond self-attestation: Imagining global assurance standards for AI in education by 2030”, com encontro previsto para o dia 10 de setembro, às 14h (UTC+2). A atividade propõe uma reflexão sobre novos caminhos para a garantia de qualidade no uso da inteligência artificial na educação, tendo como horizonte a construção de padrões globais para 2030.
Já a bolsista integra o diálogo “Youth voices informing research, policy and practice” tendo participado do encontro em inglês no dia 8 de setembro, e retornando à programação no dia 10 de setembro, às 13h05 (UTC+2), desta vez no encontro em espanhol.
Nos diálogos, é apresentada a experiência do LIMIAR: Curso de Formação em Futuros Participativos, Imaginários e Tecnologias emergentes, promovido pela Cátedra e ministrado pela pesquisadora Djaine Damiati, que reuniu estudantes em um processo de investigação e criação coletiva sobre os futuros sociotécnicos na universidade.
A presença da Cátedra na Digital Learning Week 2026 fortalece a circulação internacional de suas pesquisas e experiências e amplia o diálogo com pesquisadores, instituições e iniciativas que atuam na interseção entre educação, tecnologias digitais e futuros.
UNESCO Chair at UnB Takes Part in the Digital Learning Week 2026, in Paris
Through September 11, the UNESCO Chair in Open Education and Technologies for the Common Good at the University of Brasília (UnB) will be taking part in the UNESCO Digital Learning Week 2026, held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris (FR), represented by its coordinator Prof. Dr. Tel Amiel (UnB) and grantee student Rebeca Mesquita (UnB). The programme brings together researchers, educators, students, and representatives of organizations from different countries around themes such as artificial intelligence, open education, ethics, and the futures of learning.
Tel Amiel joins the panel of facilitators for the Futures Workshop “Beyond self-attestation: Imagining global assurance standards for AI in education by 2030”, scheduled for September 10, at 2 p.m. (UTC+2). The session invites reflection on new pathways for quality assurance in the use of artificial intelligence in education, with an eye toward building global standards by 2030.
The student fellow, in turn, takes part in the dialogue “Youth voices informing research, policy and practice”, having spoken at the English-language session on September 8, and returning to the programme on September 10, at 1:05 p.m. (UTC+2), this time at the Spanish-language session.
The dialogues showcase the experience of LIMIAR: Training Course in Participatory Futures, Imaginaries and Emerging Technologies, promoted by the Chair and taught by researcher Djaine Damiati, which brought students together in a process of collective inquiry and creation around the sociotechnical futures of the university.
The Chair’s presence at the Digital Learning Week 2026 strengthens the international circulation of its research and experiences. It expands dialogue with researchers, institutions, and initiatives working at the intersection of education, digital technologies, and futures.
